All right come sit down, you
tried everything right, you tried
everything to market your web design
agency, but nothing seems to work, you
tried Facebook groups you got banned, you
went over to Reddit you got banned there
too. you tried Facebook ads well that’s a
waste of money and Google ads well
forget it no one clicked on those ads
anyways, now you could be one of the best
web designers in the world right but
without clients web design is just a
hobby, now before we get into web design
marketing right there’s one essential
thing we need to talk about going
forward , now I know everyone watching
this video thinks they are the best
designer in the world, but let me ask you
a red pill question here, if I were to
bring 1 million visitors to your website
tomorrow would you change it or would
you leave it the same , if you had to
think about changing it then you should
probably change your website before you
even consider marketing, here’s an
example of some great-looking websites
here is a good-look landing page great
structure, straight to the point, nice
branding and professional, another
good-looking website with a modern
approach, here we have another style
unique interesting corporate style
approach, but it looks good and we have
another personal landing page that just
looks and feels good if you want to
check out those websites I will leave
those websites in the video description,
now the reason why this is so important,
because let me show you some companies
right now that are actually wasting
money on ads with their current landing
pages, this is brutal so here is the
first one,
pwds.asia now just by looking at this
landing page it’s screaming for help
right, i mean and what is with this
little circle thing, i feel like if I
drink enough Jack and Coke, I can
probably make this website again, but it
just looks like it was done by someone
who just learned how to use Elementor
right, i mean uh the uh they’re stacked
right here you got this red background
here really ugly, you have so much white
space and this background landing page
doesn’t coordinate at all with these
colors like you got too many, you got so
many colors going on here, it’s just blah
you know it’s a really weird landing
page, scrolling down and they got this uh
this ,this section here where if you
hover over these little parts they got
this orange background right and they
never introduced the orange background
again so they just introduced it once
and that was it , it’s like “All right
cool there’s the color.” And uh that’s
it right and you know I don’t like the
square background it looks kind of like
uh like the padding they need more
padding it needs like a radial design
like maybe circular or something and
then they introduced this banner from
1995 which just looks like out of whack
and they have this very generic looking
image scrolling down they have some
projects, i pray for their customers i
mean I would ask for my money back and
then they have these this table with
these gradients again right red red and
uh blue gradients scrolling down here
they have other projects and then they
just introduced this radial gradient
backgrounds uh with the WhatsApp i mean
I’m just at a loss of words of how many
colors and designs they introduced on
this page i mean they introduced red
they introduced orange they have two
gradients going on i’m just completely
lost right so if your website looks like
this yeah don’t run ads on it you’re
going to waste your money the next one
was Optywise and at first I thought it
was okay but I mean half the page is
white space i mean why did they put
everything so so down here and not in
the middle like it’s a very weak landing
page it’s not going to convince me to do
anything and there’s no call to action
now I think what they were trying to do
here was maybe put this in the center
right here they could have added two
buttons right here you know like maybe
get a quote or contact us and improve
the page but um people are paying to
bring people to this page with just all
this white space on it and this text at
the bottom right i I just Yeah it
baffles me right so as we can tell right
the design aspect of your landing page
is critical and it truly determines if
you’re going to gain a customer or not
so make sure you have a really nice
looking landing page if you do need
inspiration or help I have templates in
the video description you can all check
out but enough yapping all right I’ll go
ahead and shut up let me give you five
specific ways on how you can get more
clients for your web design business

a lot more on top of getting more
exposure for your website you’re also
getting a backlink from a really high
domain authority websites another
popular directory website is Yelp.com
you know I’ve seen some blogs saying
that Yelp is dying but they’re just
crazy yelp receives more than 100
million visitors every single month
there’s tons of agencies that are
creating listings on Yelp you’ll also be
receiving another high quality backlink
from Yelp and a lot of traffic there’s

people don’t even know about government
services in most cases the government is

that advocates on behalf of local
businesses and is backed by a local
board the group is comprised of business
people from the local community the
whole point of this organization is to
help locals get more business for
example I am from the beautiful hometown
of Santa Clarita here they have a
chamber of commerce the sole purpose of
this website is to advertise your own
business to the local community what’s
better is these organizations will list
your business on.gov websites giving you
a really nice highdomain authority
backlink the Chamber of Commerce also
has local events where they have a bunch
of business owners get together to
exchange services to one another for
example a roofing company might need a
website and you might need a roof this
is where you can exchange services and
get referrals many of these businesses
that do offer services tend to refer
each other in a network and in case you
didn’t know referrals are the number one
best way to get more clients for your
business pro tip number four and this is
a big one folio.me now if you’re a
confident web designer and you think you
have what it takes to handle jobs with a
budget of $50,000 or more there is a
website that actually has leads for
large like government institutions and
large corporations who are looking for
web designers and are accepting bids
meet Folio this website has a network of
agencies and government institutions
that are posting weekly for web
designers so this is folio.me i’ll leave

out now they recently like redid their
websites and it looks really weird and
it’s really hard to navigate i’m not
sure why they did that hopefully they’ll
change it back right now this website is
on a subscription service so you can
actually check out the free leads and
they’ll just give you an example of some
companies that are you know accepting uh
jobs and here they have like the monthly
subscription and then they also have
like this other one but I would just go
with the 197 month plan now I’ve
actually paid for this service already
so I’ll give you an example of what this
looks like before you you know pay any
money uh once you actually make an
account and you go through like their
little portal right here they actually
have a spreadsheet and they update the
spreadsheet every month so every single
month they have new leads for you and
all you need to do is click on it and it
takes you to like a and then it takes
you to like an Excel spreadsheet and
here is the client name the project
scope and the budget so $35,000 $100,000
$70,000 and they have a bunch of
companies that are looking for web
design jobs now these are open for bids
right so basically these people are
saying “Hey come to our website give us
a bid tell us what you can do and we’ll
go from there.” Now just to give you an
example I’ve actually called a lot of
these places already before making this
video but I’ve actually known about
these guys for years in fact I made a
video on this company two years ago but
uh for example you would just go ahead
and click on one of the leads and then
right here they have a proposal so they
basically tell you what they expect from
you and then at the bottom they have the
requirements the guidelines and then
they have the due date so proposals are
due on April 25th as of right now it is
uh what is it u April 1st right so April
1st for me and they have a person that
you can contact and an email right now
uh just to give you another example if
you actually go to Google and you just
type in the name of the company uh they
exist right so for example this company
name is uh was that Strongharts
strongharts native helpline so I’ll just
do a quick Google search here right and
here is the company so it’s a.org
company the website is not making a
bunch of fake websites okay these are
real companies with real phone numbers
and stuff like that so uh it looks like
this company here it’s run by natives
and it looks like they are in the
business of uh I guess preventing sexual
violence right and let’s just go ahead
and just let’s just give them a call all
right i want to see if these guys are
real or not all right so we’re going to
we’re going to give them a phone call
here we go okay here we go so we’re
calling the Strongharts Native Helpline

it’s a business with a.org website with
a you know a receptionist so this
website does offer quality leads and
I’ve actually verified a lot of these
websites and they are legitimate
businesses looking for real websites
look at that university of North Dakota
as you can tell a lot of these are
government institutions and
organizations and a lot of these
companies are actually you know really
big right the city of Asheville right
there $200,000 web design bid wow i mean
good luck right so if you do want to try

but freelancer websites now if you want
to try your luck on a freelancer website
I definitely recommend Upwork upwork is
by far the most popular freelance
website out there you can sign up make a
free Upwork account showcase your
profile and then hope and pray someone
contacts you well kind of just kidding
but there is a new feature they recently
introduced that allows you to get more
clients by boosting your profile when
Upwork freelancers boost their profile
they’ll be pushed to the top of the
search now I actually do like this
feature because I’ve actually contacted
a lot of freelancers on Upwork that were
just like not working anymore or out of
business so me personally I like the
idea of hiring someone that is really
hungry for business and the second
reason why I like hiring these
freelancers this might sound a little
effed up is I can ask for cheap labor so
a lot of these freelancers are new to
the website and they want to build their
profile so they give me aggressive
pricing right they want to offer low
competitive pricing in order to build up
their profile and that’s okay with me
and I also like hiring them if they’re
new because I can mail them to fit my
company culture to make them understand
what I like and what I don’t like so
yeah I like the idea of hiring new
freelancers just to give them a chance
and I get a discount on the work I need
now if you are a more experienced
freelancer and you’ve established a good
portfolio you can always try to top.com
this website brags they only hire the
best talent in the industry you’ll see
advertisements for project managers that
worked at Facebook you’ll also see
designers who worked at Samsung or web
designers who worked at
SpaceX oh hey you’re still here all
right well since you’re still here let
me give you a bonus way on how to get
more clients for your web design
business it all involves a website
called Reddit i’m sure you’ve all heard
of Reddit i’m sure everyone here loves
Reddit so much now let me just give you
a disclaimer here i don’t really use
Reddits i hate Reddits but Reddit
actually gives you insane amounts of
traffic for very very very little effort
it’s ridiculous how many people are on
Reddit these people have no lives but
that’s good for us because that means
clients now here’s just an example right
like in the past few days we have 72,000
post views and if you look at my
performance tab over here on this Reddit
account you know when I post something
on Reddit or I answer something so many
people look at these questions this one
right here we have 9,000 views and this
one right here below that 61,000 views
for a post now if you were to try to get
that from a blog post or try to get that
from paid ads like good luck you know
six 61,000 that is a lot of views now
I’m going to show you a user on Reddit
that’s actually getting web design
clients without any SEO work without any
sort of you know digital marketing
whatsoever he is strictly using Reddit
and I’ll show you his technique in just
a second so uh this is the user here it
is called Blue 6 now this is actually a
moderator on the WordPress subreddits
now the user actually doesn’t really
market his websites on the internet he
doesn’t market it on the uh the
subreddit as well alls he really does
here is he just basically answers all
these questions with very high value
comments so here’s a question how do I
remove a button from my wife’s web page
and then when we scroll down you see
this same user right here Blue Six and
again he’s linked his website right here
so you can see his web design company he
also has like a buy me a coffee page but
the thing about his comments is that
they’re very high value right he
actually answers the question he shows
them an image and it’s an overall very
helpful comments and when you build up
this kind of authority on Reddit people
look up to you and they’re more
trustworthy towards you to you know hire
you to build a websites uh another
example is on my other uh page over here
on my accounts now when I actually post
in certain forums a lot of people
message me and they’re saying “Hey you
know you know all this information you
know you you you know you have a lot of
traffic on your website can I hire you
or can I pay you to do something?” I get
that all the time on Reddit so Reddit is
actually a gold mine when it comes to
actually getting clients you just need
to showcase yourself that you’re an
authority that you know what you’re
talking about and a lot of people are
more than likely to hire you for their
web design job so here’s his website and
it’s just like a standard web design
company landing page now when you
actually go over here to like Semrush
and you look at the statistics of his
website this dude is like not marketing
whatsoever like he is solely relying on
Reddits you’ll see that he has like no
paid traffic no keywords no organic
traffic he’s strictly just extracting
traffic from Reddit and that’s how this
user is finding clients for his business
so I just thought it was very
interesting that this user is using
Reddit to find more customers now a word
of caution here reddit users have a six
sense for spam okay if they even think
that you’re spamming they’re just going
to ban you okay so be very cautious just
provide helpful comments all right
helpful you know helpful answers and I’m
sure people will reach out to you for a
